Rumors were it was tonight. But should you always beleive the rumors? This time, yes. Vanity Weasley made her way down to the Room of Requirement like many of the other Hogwarts students would be doing at this time to engage in one thing, a game of truth or dare. Sure it can get boring, but not when you have to drink Veritaserum, and magic is involved. Feeling giddy Vanity attempted to make her skirt longer, without much success, as she made her way down the emty seventh floor corridor. A door materialized on the stone wall and Vanity entered into a spacious room filled with squashy chairs, and pillows. A small table near the door held bottles upon bottles of Veritaserum. Carefully picking one up and uncorking it Vanity took drank some. She slipped the cork back in and sat herself down in one of the chairs.
Now to wait and see if anyone else would beleive the rumors.

This was one night when Lily believed the rumors. She snuck out of the Gryffindor common room hidden from the world under her father's invisibility cloak, she was thankful when a first year had come in at the exact moment she was leaving. Her wand alight under the cloak, "Lumos" she muttered as she held the wand in her teeth, a map unfolded her hands. She watched it carefully, as she made her way towards the 7th floor corridor.
She could already see that her cousin was in the room of requirement. She rolled her eyes and made her way up the last flight of stairs. She folded the map and shoved it in the pocket of her robes, when the light from the door which was being held open magically came into view, Lily put out her wand and pulled off her fathers cloak. She folded it neatly and stuffed it into the messenger back that was slung over her shoulder. She made her way inside. She avoided her cousin's eyes and she snatched up a bottle of Veritaserum, quickly uncorking it she took a drink, then replaced the cork. She brushed past Vanity and took a seat opposite her.

Almost none of the Slytherin boys believed the rumors. They weren't going to the Room of Requirement. They were all going to stay in the Slytherin Common Room. All but one. Bladon Malfoy walked coolly up and down the 7th floor corridor. He ran a hand through his black streaked blonde hair nervously as the door appeared. Taking a deep breath to calm his nerves, he entered the room. His eyes immediately fell on the two girls. He grabbed a bottle of Veritaserum, uncorked it, and took a drink. Then he sat down away from them, his eyes on the ground.

Evelyn wasn't one of those people who believed everything they heard. Especially not with rumors, but tonight she couldn't resist. Rumor had it that it was going on in there. That was why the oldest Lupin child was going to the Room of Requirement. Her brown hair hung loosely at her shoulders, her hazel eyes were glinting with excitement. Evelyn was a sucker for stuff like this, so her glossed lips cracked a giddy smile. She started to run, her full, black skirt flapping about at her knees. When she reached the wall, the door appeared. Evelyn opened it. 'So it was true' thought Evelyn happily, smoothing out her blue tank top. Her black high heels click-clacked against the tiled floor as she made her way to the table with enough veritaserum to give a small country. She took a bottle and drained it. She then went to seat herself in a comfy armchair.

Bryn was disgusted with herself. How had she gotten talked into this one? Oh right, Georgie. "You've got to get yourself socialized, cuz." Those were her exact words, and Bryn couldn't deny that her older cousin had a point. Still, Bryn thought as she walked down the Seventh floor corridor with Georgie yammering encouraging banter about how fun this 'game' would be, what am I thinking? This isn't my realm. I must be crazy to commit such a breach of Hogwarts rules. Bryn allowed Georgie to lead her down the corridor, her ears pricking at every sound. They were sure to be caught.
Part of Bryn was intensely curious; not so much at the events that might unfold that night, or of what previously unknown information about others would be revealed. No, Georgie was curious as to what she herself might say under the influence of Veritaserum. You'll never know if you don't try. Bryn said to herself, trying to prepare for the worst.

In contrast to her cousin, Georgie was positively giddy at the thought of a Truth of Dare round up in the Room of Requirement. She had always been one to believe any gossip or rumors that floated within earshot. And this one was juicy-- a real scoop. Georgie was practically pulling Bryn towards the door that had suddenly appeared in front of the girls. Yes! Georgie entered first with barely contained glee.
Looking around the room, she grinned at the assembled company: Two of her other cousins: Vanity Weasely and Lily Potter. Evelyn Lupin, plus a Slytherin boy. Not to bad of a turn out, so far. Georgie looked back at a hesitating Bryn. "Come on." She rolled her eyes, handing Bryn the Veritaserum after taking a swallow for herself. Georgie watched as Bryn gave the bottle a suspicious stare and then downed a swig.

What was he thinking?
Kevin trudged toward the seventh floor, running a hand exasperately through his hair. What was i thinking, believing something like this? He shoved a hand against the wall angrily, and he kicked out at a stair, sufficiently bruising his toe.
Truth or dare? What would he want to go for anyway? But, being Kevin, he couldn't resist the temptations of finding out about classmates' secrets. And with Veratiserum, who knows what people could reveal?
He broke into a small run, moving swiftly along the last corridor before reaching the Room of Requirement. Up ahead, through the dim light, a thin outline of an oak door vanished. He ran faster, thinking of his purpose the last hundred feet. As he reached the wall, the door appeared again, and he skidded to a halt before he smashed his face headlong into the wood.
The Malfoy turned the knob hesitantly, peering into the room. A shock of relief jolted him as he saw several people already inside, including his younger brother. Kevin slipped in quietly, eyebrows thick over stormy hazel eyes. He spotted the table of Veratiserum and reluctantly snatched up a vial. He downed a gulp, and the bruning sensation trickled down his throat.
The boy took a seat in the corner, eyeing the others carefully, trying to anylyze what secrets they would have, and what secrets they'd make him spill.

"Okay, let's get going, let's rock this!" Georgie said enthusiastically. She was impatient for the game to begin, and there was already a decent number of them there already; for all they kne, this could be the sum total. "Who's going first?" She eyed the circle, this time scouring it for brave souls. Bryn and Lily seemed unlikely to volunteer to be the first to choose either truth or dare. And Georgie knew next to nothing about the Malfoy boys. Evvie and Vanity seemed like the best bets to start he game, but who knew? Truth of Dare Hogwarts style was always full of surprises. "Anyone?"

Evelyn grinned as her hand shot up into the air. "Me." she stated, giving Georgie a daring look. She couldn't wait for this. Truth or dare wasone of the best things on earth, at least in Evelyn's humbe opinion. She wanted to start this so she could dare someone to do something incredibly stupid. Or ask them something incredibly emberassing. She stared giddly at Georgie, her rosy lips cracked in a smile. She wondered what Georgie was going to dare her, because Evelyn usually picked dare.

Georgie felt Bryn shift in anticipation next to her. Bryn seemed very anxious for such a simple game. Georgie wondered vaguely whether Bryn would have anything worthwhile to divulge or take an especially wild dare. She doubted it; Bryn was so cerebral and a goody besides. No drama there. Georgie herself was quite eager for her turn to come. Georgie ignored her nervous wreck of a cousin and smiled mischieviously at Evvie. "Alright then, Evvie's first." She said dicisively, "What will it be? Truth or Dare?"

Evelyn pretended to think, then gave a mock dramatic pause. "Dare, m'dear." she smiled. what else would it be? she thought to herself, waiting for Georgie's reply. She let her high-heeles drop onto the ground and put her legs on the chair comftortably. She started to play with her hair, preparing herself for the dare that she was to do. Whatever it would be.

"Alright than." Georgie crossed her legs "indian style" in her chair, picking at the peeling rubber on the sole of her left trainer as she thought. A dare... a dare... Georgie racked her brains for a dare that may dissuade even Evelyn Lupin. "I think I have an idea." Georgie said slowly as a wicked notion took hold her, a dare that involved danger on several levels: it required sneaking around the school after hours, venturing onto the grounds, and then there was the task itself. "Does anyone feel like taking a field trip into the forrest?" She questioned the group dramatically, "'Cos Evvie has to go pull a Davey Cudgeon: Hit the trunk of the Whomping Willow before it hits her."

Evelyn's face went white, all the blood drained out of her. "Th-the who-whomping w-willow?" she stuttered. She thought. "I g-guess I'll do it..." she said, trying not to make her voice sound shaky. After all... what other choice did she have?
Nothing.

Georgie smirked. Now that was the reaction she'd been hoping for. Daredevil Evelyn Lupin, finally turning white at the suggestion of a dare. Georgie always felt slightly competitive with Evvie; they were two troublemakers, both records stacked with mischievious deeds. Georgie always thought that if two marauders were not partners in crime, then the object was to out-do one another in daring antics.
"W-w-what?" Georgie asked, imitating Evelyn's stutter, "Scared?"

"I'm up for it," he spoke up, grinning. Normally, Kevin wouldn't show nearly as much interest in the game, but this would probably be too funny to miss. The older boy nudged his brother as he got to his feet, stuffing his hands into the pockets of his jeans.
